Qigong

Cultivating Qi, the body’s vital energy, through movement, breath, and intention

Qi the vital life force that animates all living things. In modern medical language, internal Qi is often described as the body’s bioelectric field, the electrical signaling network that supports physiological function, communication, and the body’s natural healing processes. Eastern traditions recognize that Qi exists both within and around the body, and that this universal energy can be consciously accessed to support self-healing and extend beyond the individual to others and the world.

Gong a skill cultivated through consistent practice over time, a refinement that arises through presence, patience, and repetition.

Qigong gentle and mindful movement forms, grounding universal energy through the body and restoring natural balance. Each person’s Qigong practice is unique, shaped by constitution, the flow of Qi, intention, breath, and one’s relationship with life and environment.

Kaila is a Certified Qigong Teacher through Ling Gui International Healing Qigong School, where she has studied for over a decade under the guidance of Dr. Liu Dong and Master Liu He. Her teaching reflects both the classical roots of the practice and its relevance for modern life, offering a grounded, integrative approach to working with energy.

“Qigong is as large as nature and full of surprises.”

In Relationship with Nature

Qigong is an ancient and living practice devoted to the cultivation and harmonious flow of life force energy. Rooted in Chinese medicine and Taoist philosophy, it offers a gentle yet profound pathway toward balance within the body, the mind, and one’s connection to the natural world.

Over centuries and within cultures around the world, humans have developed practices that honor the relationship between the body, the Earth, and the greater cosmos. Similar expressions of energy cultivation can be found among ancient Egyptian, Aboriginal, Vedic, and Eastern traditions as well as countless others, each recognizing that healing and wisdom arise through communion with nature and its inherent forces.
